Our landscape stories come from Scotland and the Netherlands. The landscapes that we grew up surrounded by have influenced us as designers and in how we form our studio.

When we go back to Scotland we enjoy exploring the vast landscapes, the isolation and escape from our hectic urban lives. Walking through these landscapes reinstates the feeling of being part of larger whole, an ecosystem that is bigger than ourselves. When in the Netherlands we bewonder the order, vision for the landscape and regional planning.

Not only where we come from inspiration but every project we work on has a landscape story, we enjoy researching and understanding the history and processes that have occurred there to form it into what it is today. By understanding the past of the site, we can begin to use that to inform its future. We have created a selection of landscape images, details and patterns that inspire us.
